TGB congratulates Managing Partner Morry Bailes on receiving the Law Society of SA’s most prestigious honour, the Brian Withers Award 2013.

The award was presented at the Society’s Gala Ball and recognises outstanding service to the legal profession.

TGB General Manager Claudio Galloni said the award is due recognition for Mr Bailes whose commitment to his industry and the improvement of access to justice in the South Australian community is unwavering.

“Morry possesses all of the attributes of a great lawyer and leader,” Mr Galloni said.

“He is respected by all not only for his legal insight, but his ability to relate to all people from all walks of life.

“We are constantly amazed at how Morry juggles life as a Managing Partner, President-Elect at the Law Society and also as a family man with two boys, and everyone here at TGB couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this award.”

Mr Bailes said he was honoured to receive the Brian Withers Award.

“This is an achievement that is very special to me and I am grateful for the recognition from my peers,” Mr Bailes said.

“But I do this work not for the recognition but because I am genuinely passionate about the profession and the people we deal with every day.

“I am thankful for the support of my wife, Mel, my colleagues at the Law Society and my Partners at Tindall Gask Bentley.

“I am truly honoured, and the Brian Withers Award is something I will cherish forever.”
