For Workers
Many of our clients are people who have been injured at work. We help them make claims for workers' compensation and in some cases for pain and suffering.
We have experience in other workplace issues too. We give advice at the beginning of an employment relationship (for example, when negotiating a contract of employment or an Australian Workplace Agreement). We also give advice when an employment relationship is strained or has broken down (for example, where a worker has been, or is likely to be, unfairly or unlawfully dismissed, where a worker has been underpaid, or where allegations of discrimination have been made). Through our relationship with a number of public sector employee associations we have particular expertise in representing public sector workers. We also have a dedicated and specialised team who can advise and represent Defence and Commonwealth workers.
We can assist people who may be in dispute regarding their superannuation benefits. We also provide assistance to people who may be in dispute regarding their income protection policy.
We are committed to making sure that working people are properly represented. Our after hours service was introduced specifically for people whose work commitments make it hard to get to a lawyer during normal office hours.
So, if you would like to see a lawyer about a problem in the workplace, after hours or at any time, contact us.
