Morgan O’Brien-Powell is dedicated to developing working relationships with clients that focus on their individual needs, because she knows that every client has a unique set of circumstances.
Morgan aims to assist clients in gaining the power to make crucial decisions for themselves, rather than having those decisions and choices imposed by others.
She has been involved in a variety of property settlements as well as matters involving children’s issues. Morgan’s experience also extends to divorce applications.
Her early experience has entailed a successful Hague Convention application, where a child had been taken out of Australia in contravention of a court order.
Morgan believes that at its core Family Law is a problem-solving process. She fully understands the need to be an effective advocate and an active listener when it comes to her clients.
In the most traumatic of cases, Morgan displays an ability to develop trust and empathy with her clients.
She opens the lines of communication and helps people to find additional support from sources including medical and health-care professionals.
Morgan takes pride in providing positive change in the lives of those who seek her advocacy and advice as a Family Law professional.
“It’s rewarding to help people gain a bit of control in a situation that might otherwise leave them feeling overwhelmed.”
