Ian McLean

Ian McLean has been involved in the legal industry for more than three decades. He advises extensively on employment law and also works in the accident and work injury section at Tindall Gask Bentley Lawyers.

He prides himself in giving timely advice to injured workers, and persons injured in motor vehicle accidents.

Being able to relate to both employers and employees has helped in the provision of advice to unions regarding awards and enterprise bargaining agreements and employees on unfair dismissal, harassment and equal opportunity matters. He has also advised insurers in relation to workers compensation and common law liability claims.

Ian can provide advice on all matters but in particular workers compensation and employment law, and he has acted extensively in the State and Federal jurisdiction of the Industrial Commission as Counsel or instructing solicitor.

Having acted as solicitor in a number of significant motor accident claims, Ian has broad experience in the Supreme Court and District Court and has extensive dealings as agent for the Motor Accident Commission in relation to the claimants he represents.
