About Us

We have 23 lawyers, experienced in a wide range of practice areas. We handle matters of all sizes - ranging from providing simple advice through to conducting major trials in the superior courts. Our lawyers are

Our lawyers are assisted by over thirty excellent administrative staff many of whom have paralegal skills and experience. Most of our administration staff have been with the firm for many years so they have a good knowledge of legal processes. While they can't give you legal advice, they can often help answer some of your questions.

Our firm is managed by Claudio Galloni, our General Manager. Amanda Venn is our Office Manager.

Free first interviews

We offer free first interviews to prospective clients in the following areas

These 20 minutes interviews are designed to establish whether we can assist. We sometimes advise clients that using solicitors may not be the best method for solving their particular problem. There is no obligation for clients to continue with our firm after the initial interview.

If you would like a free first interview please contact us.

Associate organisations

The Australian Postal Institute (API) is a long standing client - the association once served Australia Post and Telecom workers only. Now its membership is open to the general public and it has over 35,000 members in South Australia- including all our staff.

We also have strong ties with three other associations and their members

  • the Police Association of SA
  • the Correctional Officers' Legal Fund, and
  • the State School Leaders' Legal Fund.

Members of all these associations are entitled to a free first interview and genuine discounts on legal fees at Tindall Gask Bentley. If you're a member, talk to one of our lawyers (or to your association representative) about the benefits you can access.

Defence Forces

Two of our lawyers, Tim White and Barney Gask, are serving members in the Australian Defence Forces (Tim is in the Air Force and Barney is with Navy). As a result of their understanding of the workings of the militarily, and their interest in it, they are both well placed to provide legal advice to military personnel. They also have experience in advising veterans, and their widows, on pensions and entitlements.

Communicating with you

We aim to be approachable, friendly and easy to deal with. We want to make sure our clients are kept fully informed and feel free to ask questions.

Serving clients who don't speak English

We also have a commitment to serving the needs of clients from non English speaking backgrounds. We have a particularly strong association with the Vietnamese community, and many Vietnamese clients. We have a full time trained Vietnamese interpreter on our staff and can also arrange for interpreters in other languages when required.

Our community

We are active in our community. Many of our lawyers serve the community in their private capacity, giving their time and knowledge to the causes they care about. We also fundraise actively within the firm. At the moment the proceeds of our monthly casual day go to the Royal Adelaide Hospital's Spinal Injuries Unit. We also regularly make donations to charities and sponsor events - including events in the Vietnamese community.
